OUR HISTORY
Quality Transport Company is a family owned and operated dry van carrier that has been in business since 1993 when siblings Larry, Kurt, and Linda Macintyre opened it out of Freeport, IL, with one truck and one employee. Since then, Quality Transport has grown exponentially but has kept the same goal in mind; be the company the customer can count on.
Quality Transport Company offers multiple services, the biggest one trucking. Quality offers short, regional, and long-haul trucking to customers. And because Quality owns our own fleet, equipment, and have company drivers, we can even do expedited services for freight. Quality currently owns 31 trucks operated by 21 drivers who travel all over from Freeport, IL, down to San Diego, CA, and up to Caribou, ME. Quality Transport also offers short and long-term warehousing.
Quality is a customer-based company that places an importance on loyalty. That is why most of our customers have been with us since the beginning. Our employees haul many different types of goods but tend to haul a lot of raw and finished foods. So it is important to the company that we keep very clean trailers.
Since Quality Transport is customer-based, communication is key. We know that flexibility is key in trucking and will do just about anything to keep our customers happy. Trucking is a very competitive industry, but our strength is that we have the equipment so we can control the pickup and delivery. Our customers can count on us, which is why they come back each time; they know they do not have to worry about their loads.
